Teracap Single-mode fiber suppresses the loss of ordinary Single-mode fiber caused by hydroxyl ion (oh-) absorption near 1383nm, extends the working window to the full band of 1260-1625nm, and increases the spectral bandwidth of about 100nm. Teracap comprehensively optimizes the attenuation and dispersion characteristics of 1260-1625nm full band, improves the bending resistance of L-band (1565-1625nm), and fully meets the needs of transmitting a variety of high-speed applications on Single-mode fiber.


Teracap Single-mode fiber has a wide spectral bandwidth and superior optical characteristics. It is the best choice for metropolitan area networks and regional networks that support different applications such as 10G Ethernet, asynchronous transfer (ATM) and synchronous optical network (SONET), and meets the requirements of single-channel, multi-channel dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) and sparse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM); Teracap Single-mode fiber without water peak can support 10GBase LX with a distance of 10km.
